We have been really busy these past few weeks. We are deep in California PBL; students have researched and presented a California Native American group. Mrs. Kilayko helped us incorporated art by teaching us how to weave and she gave the students a mini lesson as to why weaving was and still is an important part of Native American culture. Before we went on Thanksgiving break students learned about Haiku and Acrostic poetry. They created some wonderful poems! Genius hour has been a lot of fun. We are creating our electric cars and I am amazed on how creative and problem solvers our JMC students are. Our classroom is very fortunate to have our very own 3D printer! Students are excited to start producing their own 3D models. We are using Project Ignite to help us learn all about 3D printing. Little Latin Leaders have also been working hard on creating their claymation project with the help of Lincoln High School students.
