We had a very exciting week in 4th grade. Students are digging deep into our Changing Earth P.B.L. they are learning so much about how landforms and natural disasters change our Earth. We had an opportunity to experiment on how engineers design structures to resist earthquakes. Students had a blast designing, building and testing their structure using toothpicks, marshmallows and jello. Special thanks to all the families who donated items for our experiment. Students were also timed for the mile run. This was their preliminary time and will serve as a benchmark for decreasing their time as the year progresses. Stay tune for more fun and learning we will have with this P.B.L.
