Behavior policy
Each child entering the classroom is expected to behave and perform in a positive and productive manner. To ensure that this occurs, I have set in place a discipline policy that each student is aware of, and is expected to follow.
Expectations:
1. Follow all directions the first time they are given.
2. Respect yourself, respect our class, respect our school.
3. Keep all hands, feet and objects to yourself.
4. Raise your hand and wait to be called upon before speaking.
5. Keep work area and floor space clean at all times.
When a student is not following the set classroom expectations they will log their behavior in the classroom behavior log and possibly receive a consequence so they can reflect on their behavior ( missed recess etc. ). Students who constantly do not follow the rules they may get an infraction or referred to the office for further discipline. I will contact parent/guardian if an infraction is issued by me. Any questions please feel to contact me.
